For shorter term treatment, I may use problem solving techniques, and solution focused therapy; whereas for longer term treatment, I use a more psychodynamic approach. I try to adapt my approach based on the individual's needs, and largely rely on motivational interviewing, and strengths based perspective throughout every treatment session.
